Swim Ireland’s Swim for a Mile launches for 2024!
Children’s Health Foundation are thrilled to continue our partnership with Swim Ireland for their 2024 Swim for a Mile challenge.
Since 2022, Swim Ireland have raised funds to support our mission of working together with Children’s Health Ireland to provide world-class facilities, research and compassionate, loving care for every sick child in Ireland.
In 2023, the Swim for a Mile challenge aimed to raise €10,000. Due to the outstanding support of participants across the eleven events, Swim Ireland raised over €15,200 for sick children and their families. This year, they are aiming to set the bar even higher!
With over 15 Swim for a Mile events planned for across the country, Swim Ireland plan to raise €15,000 for Children’s Health Foundation in 2024. On top of that, Swim Ireland will generously contribute €5,000 to help better the care of sick children.
So how can you get involved? All you need to do is find an event near you, sign up and donate to the page. You can also set up your own fundraising page that can be shared with your family and friends. Swimming a mile is always more fun with friends and family beside you in the pool, to push you all the way! If swimming a mile isn’t your thing, you can still support by sharing the donation page. 6th April 2024 National Aquatic Centre, Co. Dublin
8th April 2024 Kingfisher Waterford, Co. Waterford
9th April 2024 Leisureworld Bishopstown, Co. Cork
11th April 2024 K Leisure Athy, Co. Kildare
12th April 2024 Laois Leisure Centre, Co. Portlaoise
13th April 2024 Lough Lannagh Castlebar, Co. Mayo
15th April 2024 Sligo Regional Sports Centre, Co. Sligo
16th April 2024 Clara Swimming Pool, Co. Offaly
19th April 2024 Trinity College Sport Centre, Co. Dublin
19th April 2024 Banna Leisure Club, Co. Kerry
21st April 2024 Sean MacDermott Street Pool, Co. Dublin
