€2.2million MRI arrives at Temple Street
Our amazing new €2.2 million MRI Scanner funded solely by you, our amazing supporters has now been installed in CHI at Temple Street! A message from our Chief Executive, Denise Fitzgerald.
“I am absolutely delighted to announce that our brand-new MRI Scanner was delivered and installed in CHI at Temple Street last week. The scanner, which cost an incredible €2.2 million, was bought entirely by donations from you, our amazing supporters.
The new scanner will give our little patients a much better experience – scans will be quicker, and it will dramatically improve the quality of images, which is good news for our families and our CHI team. When the time comes, the MRI will also move to the New Children’s Hospital with us.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this new, much needed scanner possible and for your continued support. Congratulations goes to the wonderful CHI at Temple Street Projects Team for all their work on this exciting project it can’t have been easy to organise! This will make something which can be very scary, so much better for our patients and it’s fantastic to see the incredible impact your donations have for sick children here in Ireland.
