Meet Freddie
Freddie is baking it happen for sick children by taking part in this year’s Great Irish Bake!
At just five weeks old, Freddie was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. A condition in newborns in which the bile ducts outside & inside the liver are scarred and blocked. He underwent two liver transplants before the age of three.
"Many staff have been with us on this journey since Freddie was 2 weeks old so they feel like our family. Every time I walk into the hospital, in a strange way, it feels like a home to us.” – Karen, Freddie’s Mum.
