All applications for Children’s Health Foundation Families First Funding Call need to be submitted through the online form. Applications submitted through other means will not be accepted. 

1. Complete your application 

• Please complete the online application form on the next page. 
• Give as many details as you can to support your application. 
• Be specific about the potential impact your project could have on patients, family and staff, should you be successful.
• This application guide gives you additional insights and can support you in completing your application. 

2. Attach Necessary Documents:

• Attach any necessary additional information to your application such as for example:
  • Quotes 
  • Budget Breakdowns 
  • Support letters or approvals from stakeholders within CHI
  • Merge all documentation and upload it as one single PDF file. 
  • The online form does not accept multiple file uploads. 

3. Submit your application 

• Add your department head or executive leader as the “CHI Reviewer”. 
• Double check to ensure no spelling mistakes were made. 
• Once you are ready, select “Submit” at the bottom of the page. 
• Your CHI Reviewer will receive an email notification and must confirm their support before this application will be sent to Children’s Health Foundation.  
• The application window closes on Thursday 27th August 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. Please ensure that your dedicated CHI Reviewer is able to review your application before the closing date.  

4. Confirmation 

• You will receive automatic notifications from Children’s Health Foundation when you submit your application and once your CHI Reviewer has confirmed their support.  
• Children’s Health Foundation will be in touch with the outcome of your application after the application window closes and once it has been reviewed by the Grants Advisory Panel. This process will take multiple weeks.
