Clash of the Companies expects to raise a phenomenal €150,000 for sick children
Clash of the Companies for Sick Children, which took place on Friday, 8th July in the RDS and across Dublin’s city centre, expects to raise a phenomenal €150,000 for sick children, as LinkedIn team ‘Brazukers’ claimed victory at this unique team-building charity event.
Clash of the Companies follows on from the hugely popular Techies4TempleStreet event and sees teams from across Ireland’s business community gather in the RDS before heading out into the city to take on a series of fun, unique and brain-teasing challenges, all to raise vital funds for sick children in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.
The fundraiser is organised by Children’s Health Foundation with Arista, Autodesk and Mercury as this year’s platinum sponsors. Over 500 people took to the streets of Dublin to solve this year’s Clash challenge.
Since Techies4TempleStreet was first held in 2015, the event has raised over €1 million and helped transform the lives of thousands of sick children in Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street. Now, following a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the new-look team-building charity event ‘Clash of the Companies’ returned in 2022, raising funds for sick children in all Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres.
Denise Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Children’s Health Foundation said, “We are so thrilled that so many teams from across the business community have joined us for Clash of the Companies for Sick Children. This is a one-of-a-kind event that offers a fantastic team-building day out while also raising vital funds to support sick children and their families in CHI at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.”

Every day, sick children and their worried families from all over Ireland come to Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly, in need of the expert care that only CHI’s world-class teams can provide.
