Running for Noah.
When Ian Keelan took on the 2026 Mullingar Half Marathon, he was running for someone very special – his son, Noah.
Noah was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect before he was even born. After his birth, his condition became increasingly serious and, in February 2026, he faced a 50/50 chance of survival ahead of surgery.
Today, Noah is home and thriving.
Wanting to give back, Ian took on the half marathon and raised an incredible €8,335 for the Children’s Heart Centre at Crumlin.
It’s a powerful reminder of what can happen when families turn gratitude into action. Thanks to generous people like Ian – and supporters like you – vital funds can continue to support children and families receiving care when they need it most.
Ian, thank you for every step.
