70km to give something back.

For Bradley Ward, fundraising came from a deeply personal place.

His son, Justin, spent a month in Temple Street in 2024. After experiencing first-hand the care and support shown to Justin and his family, Bradley wanted to find a way to give something back.

So, in July, he took on an incredible 70km cycle from Galway Cathedral to Knock Shrine, raising €2,215 for Children’s Health Ireland.

Every kilometre was a way of saying thank you – and of helping other children and families who rely on the same care and support.

Bradley’s kindness is another reminder that generosity comes in so many forms. Whether it’s cycling 70km or choosing to make a gift, every act of support becomes part of a much wider community surrounding sick children and their families.

Bradley, thank you for going the extra mile.
