Little Stars Spring Newsletter: See How Your Support Helps Sick Children
The latest issue of our Little Stars newsletter is here, sharing powerful stories that show the real impact of supporting children in hospital.
In this spring edition, we introduce Saoirse, an inspiring 11-year-old from County Clare. Saoirse has faced a long and challenging medical journey due to a genetic kidney condition, spending almost a year in hospital receiving treatment. Throughout this time, her strength, her family’s determination, and the kindness of supporters have helped her through.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, children like Saoirse benefit from a range of supports while in hospital — from activities organised by the play department to psychological support for children and their families.
These donations also help fund patient and family support, transformational medical equipment, and life-saving research that improve the experience of sick children in hospital every day.
