Children's Health Foundation named one of Woodie's Heroes 2024 charity partners!
We are delighted to share the news that we have been selected as one of Woodie’s Heroes 2024 charity partners! This year is extra special as it marks the 10-year anniversary of the Woodie’s Hero campaign supporting charities throughout Ireland. The campaign kicks off from the 14th of July until the 10th of August.
We are thrilled to have Izzy Hayward as our Woodie’s Heroes Ambassador this year. At just six-weeks-old, Izzy was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Thanks to research funded by Children’s Health Foundation, Izzy became eligible for a groundbreaking wonder drug therapy that will enhance her long-term health. The partnership between Children’s Health Foundation and Woodie’s Heroes showcases a shared commitment to improving the well-being of children in Ireland. By coming together, we strive to make a difference in the lives of sick children to ensure they receive the best medical care.

By funding this piece of equipment, it will enhance the quality of care for children, allowing for quicker and more accurate diagnoses. It will also assist medical teams to provide immediate, on-the-spot imaging, which will reduce the stress and discomfort for young patients. The digital mobile X-Ray machine will be a game-changer for sick children seeking medical treatment.
