Step-by-Step to create your Monster Mask

Materials

  • Monster Mask printouts
  • Crayons, coloured pencils, or markers
  • Scissors: ask a grown-up for help if you need it.
  • Yarn or string: this will help you wear your mask like a real monster!

Step 1: Choose your Monster Mask

Step 2: Get Decorating

Now comes the fun part! Grab your crayons, coloured pencils, or markers and start colouring your monster. Remember, monsters can be any colour you want – green, blue, pink, or purple. You can even add polka dots or stripes! Make them as wild and wacky as you like.

Step 3: Cut it Out

With your monster all coloured in, it’s time to carefully cut it out. Ask an adult for help if you need to, especially when cutting out the eye holes. Follow the dashed lines and get your monster in shape.

Step 4: Attach the Strap

To wear your mask, you’ll need to attach yarn or string. Ask a grown-up to help you cut small holes on the sides of your mask. Then, thread the yarn or string through the holes and tie a knot.  Make sure it’s long enough to fit comfortably around your head.

Step 5: Show off your Monster Mask

Strut your stuff in your custom designed mask. You’ll look frightfully awesome!
